GEOMETRY CHARADES

As you know, geometry includes a variety of vocabulary terms.  Math Practice Standard #6 "Attend to Precision", relates to being precise with calculations and use of tools, and also being precise with vocabulary!
Learning vocabulary goes beyond writing and defining a word.  In geometry, students need to be clear on the attributes that define that shape.  hat is the difference between perpendicular lines and intersecting lines?  How are they the same?
One fun way to get kids up and moving as well as thinking about defining attributes of geometry terms is by doing Geometry Charades.  Click here to view this simple idea for Geometry Charades!
